Yesterday I got a call from a woman to thank me that I assisted months ago searching for her son. She began sobbing when she told me that she had made contact and received a picture in the mail. It was heart breaking as I listened to her, she was flooded by emotions being released from joy of finding her son and from the many years of pain of losing her son from a forced adoption. When I got off the phone from her I felt reminded again how its so important for all of us to keep helping and sharing for those that are searching. And praise God that there are many out there that do. Some times we forget the pain a birth mother goes through. Pretending every thing is good, but deep past that smile the ache is always there and wondering what it would be like to hold the child you lost, be able to talk and laugh together, share in those special moments, I could go on and on... But all I can say is God is good, God bless you birth mother, weep no more, you have found your son. Please hold adoptees and birth families in your prayers. Please keep sharing their posts. Its not easy for them that are searching with limited information and rely on us to get their word out and hope one day they will connect with the person they are searching for.
