Yesterday, I heard from a young couple that recently purchased a CDW home. This is a video of one of the light switches in their home. If you listen closely you can actually hear the switch buzz after it is turned on. All of the switches in this home make this noise. Sadly, even though it is illegal to knowing sell a CDW home and realtors must fully disclose all defects within a home they are selling, this young couple has no other recourse but to file a lawsuit. As I said SADLY, we all know how that does not help in a situation when your home is unlivable and you know it will take years/if ever to settle a legal claim. We begged Washington, 5.5 years ago, to do something to help keep these toxic drywall homes from reentering the housing market and creating a second generation of Chinese Drywall families. We wanted to ensure that NO other family ever had to face the health and financial devastation that tens of thousands of us were already enduring but as we all know... WASHINGTON DID NOTHING!
