Yesterday I injured my foot, though not serious, I blacked out for a few seconds The scary thing is I could talk and hear but all I could see was pitch black This was the scariest experience of my life, firstly it reminded me of the grave, how will it be in complete darkness under soil, we can even hear the footsteps of our friends and family but they are of no use to us, the only comfort we will have will be from the good actions if we had any, Allahu Akbar! may Allah give us the chance to prepare for our death Secondly it made me appreciate the gift of sight, how would my life be without these eyes, Oh Allah let me use these eyes for good, save them from seeing evil and dont ever deprive me of their use Finally I am so weak that one wound shook me up while the sahabah would take hundreds of wounds for our sake so this deen could reach us May Allah give us the ability to recognise his blessings and act according to his commands and the sunnah of his beloved Rasul ﷺ
