Yesterday I lost a very good friend, not because of anything that I did or said, but simply because I am friends with some people this good friend dislikes...*Shakes My Head Sadly* I will say to this friend and to all of my friends...I am not friends with you because of ANYONE ELSES opinion...my loyalty and friendship is given to each of you on its own merit and is dependent simply upon the relationship that YOU have with ME...I am no sheep and I do not follow the herd...I have a mind and a mouth and I am skillfully adept with using both of them...I have no need to justify nor explain why I choose to be friends with those I associate with nor will I explain whether they are a friend or an acquaintance. I will never let ANYONE tell me who I am ALLOWED to be friends with...the Kitten doesnt take kindly to people trying to make her choices for her. Do not lay our friendship on the line with an ultimatum of choose them or me because I will simply choose myself every time! My friendship is much more valuable than that and I give the kind of respect and loyalty that I expect in return. I am sad to see this friend leave my circle but it is by their choice that they leave my embrace. Make no mistake, My Lovelies, I love each one of you and those who are in my circle know I have your back always but I wont be told who I can be friends with or who I am allowed to speak to. Im a Grown-Ass Woman and Ill make my own decisions...please and thank you!
