Yesterday I met the most amazing woman; she owns her own beautiful - TopicsExpress

Yesterday I met the most amazing woman; she owns her own beautiful shop where she sells all handcrafted works of art, including, but not limited to Native American works of art. We both started talking and exchanging stories, I felt as if I had known her forever. We both started conversing because she also had moved from Chicago to Arizona. Like me she started feeling an amazing healing and spiritual awakening after moving here and started feeling more creative. I couldn’t believe how similar our stories were. Chills were going up and down my arms as we spoke and then it even got more intense. I started telling her about the dream catcher I just made and how I am going to start making more, she was interested in possibly selling them in her shop along with her other dream catchers, I told her that I am not using the tradition hide that is normally used to wrap around the wreath portion, I told her I was using fur instead. She looked at me and then quickly went and picked up a dream catcher that was in the corner of her shop, it was made by using fur as I used when making my dream catcher. She looked at me and said, “you said your great-grandmother was Cherokee, this is the traditional way that Cherokee Native Americans make dream catchers. “ I couldn’t believe my eyes, and my emotions overcame me. All I could think of was my great-grandmother and a very strong feeling of her spirit working through me. Then the beautiful woman went over to her gemstones and picked up a large chunk of amethyst and says, ” this is a gift for you”. I then got chills all over again; I tell her that “amethyst is my mother’s birthstone”. WOW. I am loving this desert healing!!! An amazing feeling comes over you when you meet someone who is so true and authentic and you are reminded of how beautiful this world is. Once again I have to say “thank you UNIVERSE”. Much love to you all, Amunah
