Yesterday, I paid an unannounced visit to Dedza Secondary School - TopicsExpress

Yesterday, I paid an unannounced visit to Dedza Secondary School where I did my high school education together with my late brother Bingu. The visit excited students at the school which is popularly known as Box 48, as they did not expect such a surprise. This school brings to me very fond memories. I was there for six years, because back then, secondary education went as far as that. During the visit, I appreciated the progress that students are making in preserving the high standards of the school. I also advised the students to continue working hard in their studies so as to promote the rich history of the school. In my remarks, I promised to renovate the hall and the road to the campus which is almost impassable. I also made a personal donation of K2 million for buying food and use in sports activities plus 1, 5 50kg bags of rice, 4 cartons of cooking oil and 1, 000 notebooks.
