Yesterday, I received an inbox message from an old friend from high school telling me they are so proud of me and wished they could have what I have. Reading the message brought tears to my eyes for the simple reason that Ive always wanted to be someone else and never dreamt anyone would want to be me. I was so deeply and emotionally moved by the story, that when I shared with a co-worker, I broke down and started to cry. You see, Ive always jealous of what all my friends have..... Being married, husband, kids, etc. I wanted all that, AND I STILL WANT THAT TODAY! Ive have a tough journey to get where I am today and so thankful for the friends Ive had along the way. Its not been easy to say the least. Every day is still a challenge for me. I share this story because Im overjoyed that Ive touched the life of someone who took the time out to let me know. Its times like these that I can truly be thankful for the friends I have made along the way and the friends that I continue to make along the way and stand by my side in the future. ❤️ So I say this .... Be thankful for your blessings!! Because there is someone, somewhere wishing they had what you have!! ♥ Thank YOU for believing in me and taking the time to let me know. Im truly thankful for your time and kind words YOU shared with me yesterday. Now, I need more tissues! ❤️
