Yesterday, I saw an animated cartoon meant for just kids since the characters are mouse, duck, frog etc. Princess Daisy was meant to be saved from the tallest tower on an island so she meet her... (I dont know). There comes my Prince... and she was rescued by this brave thing. Well, there was only one kiss (innocent kiss except that it was magical) in the five mins I saw. This is a common theme in most kid literature and movies. Well, its innocent, but you agree there is a subtle message being passed and these kids are smart enough to discern it. Little wonder, a little girl today is dreaming of his Prince charming in shining armour to rescue her from her dungeon. She replays this every time shes alone at night; she doesnt feel fulfilled until she can locate a prince. Now, shes ready to elope with me, maybe not physically but shes willing to do anything to be with him in soul. And this s the same society telling kids to wait till after first degree.
