Yesterday I was called to the scene of an accident & saw something remarkable. Two ladies who saw the wreck stopped to help. So while Firefighters worked with hydraulic tools to extricate a grandmother, these 2 ladies cared for the preteen granddaughter. They held her hand, kept her still, blocked her view of the controlled chaos around the grandmother, and calmed her down. Just before we left, they stepped over to the stretcher, took her hands, knelt on the hot concrete and prayed for her & her grandmother. Then came the most awesome words ....It was really nice to meet you. They had interrupted their busy Saturday to calm, care for and pray over a little girl they had never met. Great call!!
