Yesterday I was in a very horrible accident. My face caught on - TopicsExpress

Yesterday I was in a very horrible accident. My face caught on fire. It was my first fire breathing gig in Australia. Nothing like this has ever come close to happening to me in my 4 years of being a fire performer in the UK and Europe. This time I was unlucky. Thankfully I am at an amazing hospital that specialises with burn victims. The staff here are exceptional. I am being so looked after. I am so grateful of them. I am very scared right now, and of the journey ahead of me. I Have the best family and small bunch of beautiful friends here that I know will help me get through, along with my loved ones in the UK. I miss you all more than anything right now. I have been in intensive care since yesterday, and might be moved to the burns ward tomorrow. They are keeping an eye on my in the ICU as they are worried I may have chemical internal Burns. Apart from that my face, ears and neck are pretty burnt, but been told I should make a full recovery. Eyelashes are singed and brows too but we all know how much I love a lash and pencilled in brow. So just praying I make a speedy recovery and will be back teaching and on the stage before I know it!!!! Thankyou for msgs dear friends. Love Cherie xx
