Yesterday I was invited to attend a workshop regarding “Mastering an Audio Recording.” It was led by Andy Rogulick, the award winning and preeminent Mastering Engineer in the Southwest. Wow, this man knows how to get your wheels turning. Not only was his presentation interesting and stimulating but he showed practical examples demonstrating each of the principles he discussed. His approach clarified what could be abstract concepts and distilled them into information the attendee can apply the next time they are recording music. This was an incredible experience and I was sorry when the session ended. If he schedules another seminar, I’m already signed up. Andy, you are the man. You did an outstanding job!
