Yesterday, I was nominated to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by Julie Pegram. While its all in good fun, the purpose is to raise awareness for ALS. Its a serious disease that, with some added help, can be treated and cured. While my family hasnt made a direct donation to a ALS fund, weve made donations to Carpe Diem USA (carpediemusa.org). I nominate Ethan Tolliver, Logan Steelflex, and Katelynne Renee Frank to join me in raising awareness for ALS. You have 24 hours to perform the challenge or donate in order aid in the research. Thank you to everyone who has taken part in or will take part in raising awareness for those in need. (Ethan and Jordan, you could always come over to do it.)
