Yesterday , I was part of a amazing Flag Ceremony, at Tripler Army Medical center, remembering , 9/11, and also celebrated the Flag flying for a Pearl Harbor Survivor/Medical nurse of Tripler during WWII. The World stopped for fifteen minutes as we brought down the flag and it was folded her up, I was the only retiree on deck as the Honor Guard did the ceremony. All the military personnel came out and stood by the hospital . It was hard not to be emotional, but I had to shut that off, and show respect. God Bless America. One Team/One Mission , protection of America!
