Yesterday I was swindled for $400 from Marco Polo Moving Company (also known as Peel Region Moving Company) from Mississauga. I got the Police involved but unfortunately, lost $400 and nothing was moved. A fraud report was filed through the Police. This company changed my contract on the fly, kept adding charges (despite confirmation from them that there were no hidden charges) and were very rude to me on the phone when I tried to inquire. They also sent 2 teenagers to do the moving and even these boys recognized and verbalized how this company was doing a bad thing to us. My mom told them they were good boys and should quit and find a better job! If the Police hadnt been involved it would of been a lot more $ lost! I want to warn everyone NOT to use this company on Kijiji. I have filed a complaint with Kijiji and have attached their ad so atleast my facebook friends will know.
