Yesterday I went to the Zuiderzeemuseum. I had a great time. I also talked to a lady(actrice)who talked about Schokland. So I played along telling her I came from Amsterdam(1920) It was fun.Till a manly actor joined the conversation and started to asked about the dangers of Amsterdam (with all this new electricity and the ladies pulling up their dresses.) So I told him , that I never came in the old harbour and the new electricity gave no dangerous sparkles. After that I continued my way. Back to 2013. And what did I buy as a souvenir? Napkins for my workshop at 26 oktober. Schokland was once an island in the Zuiderzee. Today it is a museum in the Flevopolder.
