Yesterday, July 10, 2013, one of our most charming alumni was lost to an act of senseless violence. Uconn (Tuck while with NLSDR) briefly escaped his yard, and as huskies will do, ran on looking for fun, frolic and new friends to play with. Even though his family was in close pursuit, and he displayed no menacing or aggressive behavior, he was shot – with a bow and arrow – by a cruel and heartless individual. He died at the veterinary hospital about an hour later in the arms of his loving mom. Please include Uconn, and his family in your prayers. Wear your silver harness proudly, Uconn, we will remember you always.
