Yesterday Kelly and I visited the locks in Fenlon Falls and the Kirkfield Liftlock, both are spectacular pieces of infrastructure (there are so many great places to visit along the system). We were joined by plenty of land based visitors who watched the boats travelling through and learned about the spectacular Trent Severn Waterway. On top of increasing the operational funding, the government has also committed record funding since 2006 for infrastructure upgrades including tens of millions of new commitments made this past spring for additional work going forward.
