Yesterday... Me: Mom, I saw a really pretty girl at the gym today. Mom: Oh! Did you approach her and talk to her. Me: Errr... No! Mom: Why? You should have! Me: Errr... Coz she may think I am some weird psycho. Mom: You should have just gone and talk to her... Me: You know ah... This is kinda your fault. Do you remember? I nicely kenna scolded by you and Dad when you two found out about my then girlfriend when I was in sec 2- while we were on holiday! So, the emphasis was to study- which, after some initial hiccup(a)- I eventually managed la. So that has been the priority and now it is work. So ya... your fault! Mom: Well, you were suppose to study then... Thats all done- for now. So you should start looking...or talking- dont just look. Today... Two mins after I got home... Mom: Did you just go to the Gym? Me: Ya! Damn hungry la! Mom: Did you see the girl again? Me: Errr... Ya... Mom: Did you talk to her? Me: Errr... No! Mom: You should just go talk to her. Find out if she is single or not... What she is doing and all.. Tomorrow, when you go to the gym and if she is there I want you to go and talk to her... What have I gotten myself into? Life was easier when my Mom was chasing me to get my long division done.
