Yesterday, Tina and I toured the Amish country with a great group from the Lutheran Church in Parkersburg. The highlight was a visit to the Amish/Mennonite Heritage Museum. A truly intriguing and intelligent Amish gentleman gave us a an outstanding presentation using a huge mural on the history of the Amish and Mennonites. He cleared up a lot of misconceptions most of us have about these people. I was truly impressed, inspired, and humbled.
