Yesterday after Shelby got her wisdom teeth out, we were driving home on Clinton road. We came across a beagle mix with a broken chain around his neck wandering in the ditch. We, of course, stopped and got him so he wouldnt get hit. I was going to check at nearby houses to see who he belonged to until I saw how bad his condition was- nails so long idk how he could walk, skin totally eaten up with fleas so bad he had open sores. We turned him in to the animal shelter because theres just no way we could keep him. I cant get those sad, sweet little eyes outta my head though. He was so well behaved and you could tell all he wanted was to be loved. Just infuriates me!! Why why WHY even have an animal if youre just going to neglect it to the point that it lives such a sad, tortuous, painful life?!! Those people need to be treated that way so they can feel as hideous as those poor animals must feel!!!
