Yesterday after finding someones cat that had been missing for over 30 days I got a call from a lady at a retirement community. She had trapped a cat and didnt want to turn it over to Animal Control. I didnt need another cat but took it. Today I get a call from a lady from Ruston, La. and she said she think I had her sons cat. Someone in the complex had seen the cat inside the trap earlier that morning and it looked just like the one that came up missing. The ladys son, an Iraqi War Veteran injured in the war several years ago, died last week. The cat ran off two years ago from this community as they were moving to Ruston. They said the cats name was Max and I have sent them pics via email and they say he looks just like Max. I will have to have the cat scanned to see for sure however, for Max has a chip planted inside him. I stay pretty close to the POW/MIA situation and my dad was a Korean War Veteran. Once I spoke at a Memorial for a Vietnam Veteran who had passed away. Below is a picture of Max...maybe.
