Yesterday afternoon I decided it was cold enough to turn on the furnace. My wife said hire someone, you dont need to be climbing up into the attic. I figured, why couldnt I do it? I climbed up there last spring and turned it off. So, I went up into the attic, lost my balance on the narrow walkway and fell to the exposed ceiling of our living room. My foot went through the ceiling. Fortunately, my head stopped me from landing completely on the sheetrock by connecting with a stray 2x4 laying across the beams. Needless to say, Sylvia was highly agitated. In my effort to save money, I not only had to pay someone to turn on the furnace but now need to replace the sheetrock. LOL! So how was your day?
