Yesterday afternoon the Head of School and his wife, both LOVELY people, dropped by our house with a delicious strawberry rhubarb pie from Sweet Berry Farm. Mmmmm. We had it when the sun went down dressed up with a side of Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream. To die for. (We passed on the dying part though as we have just too much to do right now.) Tonight our neighbors across the street invited us to sit around their fire pit. Sounds fun. Everyone has been so nice and receptive. If you visit the Newport area, do go to Sweet Berry Farm. It is wonderful. On Tuesday nights there are outdoor concerts at the farm. Tonights concert is a Beatles tribute!
