Yesterday afternoon we identified a glitch with our PayPal inventory for the Park Theatre which resulted in a situation whereby we had oversold the theatre by 90 tickets. This affected anyone who purchased tickets for the Park Theatre via PayPal on or after the evening of November 18. Those ticket holders were contacted by email to suggest a transfer or refund of the purchases. We are extremely sorry for this mistake and wish to apologize to all those purchasers who were affected. We appreciate the broad support of the Banff Mountain Film Festival and our team of volunteers works very hard to try and make sure things run smoothly. Unfortunately, mistakes happen which we take responsibility for, and for which we apologize. We hope to continue to have the communitys support going forward because the proceeds from this event are allocated to worthy organizations that support all of us in the outdoors: North Shore Search and Rescue, Lions Bay Search and Rescue, Coquitlam Search and Rescue, Squamish Search and Rescue, Squamish Access Society and the Canadian Avalanche Centre.
