Yesterday afternoon while heading into town with my family a drunk driver skipped a stop street and rammed into us. He then fled the scene!@#$ Luckily, thanks to strangers that witnessed the accident and Joshs fast response they chased him down. He was WAY over the limit and obviously shitting himself when they brought him back to the scene of the accident. My family thankfully werent injured, our car is stuffed and a young father of 2 has thrown his life away. Was it worth it? Thank you to all the kind Gonubie residents that offered help at the scene, Kreston, Val and their kids, Angelique, John Tonkin and Miguel ( sorry but didnt get everyones info). From calling the police and getting juice for my kids (who were obviously in shock) to taking the kids away from the scene. And to Maria, John and Kirst for watching them and then taking us to the station later. All the help and kindness didnt go unnoticed and my family and I extend our heart felt thanks to everyone
