Yesterday afternoon while spending some relaxing time with our beautiful daughter, Benji and I watched the Anthony Robbins DVD, Energy for life. Watching the DVD I felt similar feelings to when I attended the seminar last April and it reminded me of some really important issues. Firstly how vitally important it is to look after your health, without your health you really cannot succeed in any other area of your life. Speaking from my own experience I know how true this is, when I was unwell not only was I tired and sick all the time but every other area of my life suffered from my relationships to my career. If you don’t look after and invest in your health you will not be able to look after other areas of your life. He also reminded me of the mind body connection and how important it is, how the thoughts we have connect to emotions and therefore connect to our body. If you always think everything will go wrong- it always does, while if you are always thinking happier thoughts, you will ultimately get happier. And then finally he discussed the power of alkalinity, which I am extremely passionate about. This really bought home to me that my goal and mission to spread the word about health and wellness is really what I should be doing. Tony Robbins tips he mentions in the DVD, (which we have incorporated into my own life and that we are huge advocates of) are: Start the Day with lemon water, in fact any time you start to feel acidic (tired, sick, bloated etc) squeeze some lemon juice into some water for an instant alkalinity boost. Get moving, everyday move for at least 30 mins our body is designed to be moving, so get out of your box and get active. Incorporate a green drink into your daily routine, Ben and I always take YOR supergreens with YOR Fiber daily without fail. So even we always know that we are getting our vegetables and assisting our body with alkalising, even on those not so good diet days And finally ensure you eat a diet of 70% alkaline foods (and drinks) including lots of green vegetables. So four very easy tips to incorporate into your daily life, to help you become more alkaline.
