Yesterday, as I was mulling over the intricacies of my conversation with a boy that I liked and how I am uncertain if he likes me back, a friend told me that I could ask him how he feels and find out. However, knowing my character, she said I never would ask, because I like the not-knowing, the uncertainty, and the vagueness of it all. Today, I read this quote by Margaret Drabble: When nothing is sure, everything is possible. It is a wonderful feeling to be swimming in the cloudy waters of possibility. Certainty is overrated. Confusion is the best feeling in the world.
