Yesterday at the Fruit and Veg shop we go to I was chatting away as usual about everyday life as it was picked. I bought 7 pounds of Bananas and they asked why so many. I explained I had the hardest problem letting any get ripe in our house (so to bake with them) as the kids ate them all straight away. One of the ladys serving then said oh we a few that are to ripe to sell, could you use them? We cant sell them that ripe. Sure was my reply followed by a thanks. So for the last hour I have just peeled and mashed and freezer bagged 188 massive bananas ready to be used for baking whenever I need! Now to make some breakfast muffins!
