Yesterday evening, I got a cue from FACEBOOK about the first ever CORRUPTION case registered in India after INDEPENDENCE. Nehru was the Indian PRIME Minister that time. V K Krishna Menon and Nehru both were party to that ALLEGED JEEP IMPORT SCAM. Details are here under: V. K. Krishna Menon, then the Indian high commissioner to Britain, bypassed protocol to sign a deal worth Rs 80 lakh with a foreign firm for the purchase of army jeeps.While most of the money was paid upfront, just 155 jeeps landed. The then Prime Minister Nehru forced the government to accept them. Govind Ballabh Pant the then Home Minister and the then Government of Indian National Congress announced on 30 September 1955 that the Jeep scandal case was closed for judicial inquiry ignoring suggestion by the Inquiry Committee led by Ananthsayanam Ayyangar. He declared that as far as Government was concerned it has made up its mind to close the matter. If the opposition was not satisfied they can make it an election issue. Soon after on 3 February 1956 Krishna Menon was inducted into the Nehru cabinet as minister without portfolio. Later Krishna Menon became Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehrus trusted ally and the defense minister. This was the first REGISTERED case of CORRUPTION after INDEPENDENCE OF INDIA and interestingly it involved the so called TALLEST LEADER of Indian National Congress. I have always said that CORRUPTION and CONGRESS are the same side of a COIN, both are inseparable. Those who are making tall claims about Nehru must know that Nehru was not only CORRUPT but he was also PROMISCUOUS, SELFISH, WOMANISER and a CHARACTERLESS INDIVIDUAL. I am looking forward to a FACTUAL RESPOSE from Congress supporters. But I am sure that I will receive a COUNTER QUESTION against this post. People with SANITY can never JUSTIFY an ACT of CORRUPTION if they are at all concerned about INDIA. So I can understand their desperation to PROTECT their LEADER. But I am sure that all their EFFORTS will be FUTILE because this case happened and NEHRU and V K MENON were the ARCHITECT of the First ever SCAM reported in INDEPENDENT India. Congress has a HISTORY of CORRUPTION and this was the first Seed of Corruption sowed in Independent India by none other than Nehru. From an IDEOLOGY, Congress has become an INSTITUE of CORRUPTION in India. And today, it has become a CORPORATE HOUSE of CORRUPTION under the ABLE and VISIONARY LEADERSHIP OF NAKLI GANDHI FAMILY.
