Yesterday founder, Georgie Moseley visited Heartlands Hospital in Bordesley Green. As part of a new scheme children on hospital wards are being given the opportunity to make Harrybracelets and purchase should they wish. All proceeds are split 50/50 between HHHO and the hospital ward. Speaking on her inspiration, Georgie says: For me the idea came as I knew with being in hospital with Harry how each ward can struggle for new equipment/toys for kids etc. Also I know how boring it can be when the play specialists aren’t around and therefore I wanted to offer something that the kids would enjoy to take their mind off being poorly, whilst raising money for HHHO and helping other fantastic services/charities. The ward has raised £150.00 for HHHO and HHHO helped the ward raise £153.50! We are looking to get this scheme into other hospitals and wards if people are interested email [email protected]
