Yesterday marked 7 months since my mom died. The following first months after it was a crazy emotional roller coaster. And Im still not off it. Most days are ok and I have found happiness and solid ground. But since she passed, our dog has been going down hill - fast. I have many customers come to me who have had back to back loss, and I feel your pain. Dealing with a pile of medical issues for our dog has been almost worse, because it just rips the scab off my heart for my mom. What did you do when you were at the tail end of your pets life? Any creative advice is welcome. The photo of our pup was a few years ago in my studio. He snuggled up with my oxygen and propane hoses. He hangs with me in the studio when I make memory beads.
