Yesterday morning I had a great chance to hear about Israel-Palestine and non-violent moral economic resistance, both at the corporate and individual level. We discussed how boycott, divestment, sanction, and shareholder moves can be and are being used to resist the occupation. What made it so fascinating, though, as that we were hundreds of feet above ground overlooking the Pentagon and the National Mall. It was appropriate - though difficult - to have in the background of our speakers some of the symbols of our nation which are centers for perpetuating the occupation and the violence in Palestine. That is certainly something that will stick with me for some time.
