Yesterday morning I met Johnny Tapia and his bull mastiff, Mister. They were walking to an Asian restaurant to get Johnnys mom her favorite dish. An 8 mile round trip. He said he walks. He told me that three years ago in Fresno, his two sons were walking to a football game and were attacked by a street gang and his 18 year-old son, Johnny, was murdered. He said, I walk all the time. I have a huge hole in my heart. He told me he was very glad he met me, that I had helped him. He helped me too.
