Yesterday morning, Project Rebirth the 100 Black Men Of America, Inc. of the Virginia Peninsula Chapter at their 3rd Annual Salute to Mentoring Breakfast, in Newport News, Va. “The mission of 100 Black Men of America, Inc. is to improve the quality of life within our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans.” The breakfast focused on what the mentors have done in the year thus far to help the kids in the community, such as our collaborated program Mentoring the Project Rebirth Way: Camp Esteem, and what they look forward to doing in the future. Speakers were Sheriff Gabe Morgan City of Newport News, Alonzo Bell, Jr., Daryl Powell, and Dr. Jeremiah Williams, President.
