Yesterday morning Susan DeFord found an abandoned dog tied to a bench in Fort Greene Park. Sean Casey & BARC couldnt take him so hes staying with her for now. Hes a very sweet, mellow pit mix we call Leroy. Vet thinks hes around 10 years old & in good health. Currently being treated for Kennel Cough & well be neutering him ASAP. If anyone is interested in a chill, older dog please let me know. Also if you have any info on no kill shelters or sanctuaries that could take a senior dog let me know, though Id rather place him in a home. Please pass this info along.
