Yesterday morning my mother Kathleen Small suffered a tragic event. She had an aneurysm in her brain (a.k.a. Stroke). My siblings Paul (Buddy) Small, Lisa S. Brown, and Aaron Small are all here at VCU Medical by her side or doing rotations, along with my niece Lauren Anderson. This is hard. It is too early to tell what direction she will go. Prayers are all we are asking for during this difficult and emotional time.
