Yesterday on the 26 Dec 2014 there was Iteso cultural Festival in Kakapel Museum grounds in Teso North, Busia county Kenya. It was largely attended by Iteso people both from Uganda and Kenya. The main reason of this gathering was to celebrate Iteso culture. In the program there were Ateso musicians, wrestlers and story tellers then there was also a gallery of traditional Iteso artifacts. Greg Odeke and Grzegorz Petryniak were given opportunity to introduce the Ateso literacy and culture virtual learning platform to the Iteso community present. The platform was warmly welcomed, cheered and celebrated as an innovative way of enhancing Ateso Literacy. The climax of ceremony was a speech by Grzegorz Petryniak in fluent Ateso.
