Yesterday, one of my good friends invited me to attend Oprahs The Life You Want Tour that was held in Newark, New Jersey. It was just what I needed being that the RahGor Global Tour kicks off this week. It took about an hour to get to Newark which was fine because I enjoy morning rides on the weekend. I picked up a peanut butter and banana smoothie once I arrived in Newark (which was amazing by the way) and headed over to the Prudential Center. The event was from 9:00am -5:00pm. I truly love when I can spend the day learning from other lights in the world. And when you are a student of life, you want to be involved in anything that will help you make your life a Grade A. Preview of RahGor Notes from Oprahs The Life You Want Tour: Oprah said, As you continue to pretend to be who you are not, you will never fulfill you destiny. You know that people walk among us trying to be the perfect reflection of imperfect people? Its hard for people to look in the mirror and be honest about who they are. They choose to love the imitation of others rather than their authentic self. Remember that God have us all the gift of choice. Learn to love yourself because you cant truly love anything that surrounds you if you dont love the source that is inside of you. Oprah went on and stated that we all should yearn to be filled so that our cups run over with blessings. As we grow and begin to accumulate our blessings in all forms, people will ask/take/and try to steal ours. When we work to make our cups run over, no matter how much people take (or try to take), our glasses will still be full. It takes simple moments to step away from all things so that we can replenish ourselves through reflection, meditation, and prayer. Because if we do not, we will not only give away our cup of blessings, we will more than likely hand it over with nothing in it. ✌️ While watching and listening to Iyanla Vanzant, she talked about our eyes and vision. Our eyes will adjust to the level of their current deficiency. If the eyes are weak, then the vision is weak. If the vision is low, the eye will focus on the things that sustain that level. The clarity of our vision is based on how strong the current state of our eyes. Transition this to the vision of our lives and we will have to check the things that we allow to represent our eyes. We must be aware and check our vision we have on our future lives. If our eyes are not focus, then our future will be blurry and without clarity. We must be careful what we hold onto and what we expose ourselves to when we have a vision that came change lives and the world. Its levels to life and you can only get to the level that your eyes are strong enough to see.
