Yesterday, our Childrens Ministries had our annual Birthday Party for Jesus during Sunday school! We had a great time learning about the story of Jesus birth, celebrating His coming, and offering blessings to those in need. We asked the children to each bring just $1 for an offering in order to buy chickens for an underdeveloped community. The eggs from the chickens can provide a family with additional nutrients and income. Our children contributed enough money to buy 8 chickens!! Wow!! These chickens can truly change lives that will change the world! What a blessing it was to see those kids give as Jesus calls us to give!
