Yesterday,people everywhere were honoring and thanking the Veterans for their service. I think that needs to be done each and every day . They did not serve for just one day,so we shouldnt be thanking them on just one day. I work with the State Veterans Home in Salisbury as a volunteer,year round and have started a couple programs at the home to help these gentlemen have a better and more comfortable life. If you truly believe in honoring these gentlemen then please open your hearts and help make this a wonderful Christmas for these gentlemen. I also set up a programAdopt a Veteran where I match veterans who have no families with people who are willing to adopt them,and send cards,maybe gifts for birthdays and holidays and visit,if possible. Give these brave men something to look forward to,besides the same four walls,for the. remainder of their lives.....PLEASE HELP...... I will be glad to answer any questions you may have......dont forget-REMEMBER A VETERAN at Christmas!
