Yesterday was Mary Elizabeths monthly maintenance clinic appointment. Everything went great! She had a spinal treatment, which meant she had to be put to sleep (she loves to get magic milk), and then her other chemo in her port. She got through it all like a champ! All of her labs looked much better, after having months of her levels going up and down. Her liver enzymes had even dropped back to normal (thank goodness). To show you all just how strong this baby girl is, after a long day in clinic, where she was sedated and received two chemo treatments, she wanted to go to her dance classes. She normally has just one on Tuesdays, but she had two, one hour classes yesterday. She seemed to get through them with ease! She amazes me with her strength and determination! But, like Ive said before, dance is her medicine!! Mary is having some side effects today. She has been very tired and has a headache. Her back is hurting where she was stuck. She was up quite a few times last night, but that could be the steroids she is on this week. (Heaven, help us get through the steroid week!!!) Hopefully the side effects will subside sooner than later! Thank you all for the love and prayers! The encouragement we get and prayers said helps us get through this journey a little easier!
