Yesterday was a sensory experience of the famous SF china town, the sights, smells and fabulous tales by our musical tour guide. The homeless are everywhere in SF, its like a community all of its own, there is accom for all these people but no money to service the water, electricity or gas from the local govt, so public housing goes empty, and folks just live on the street. China town is so cheap these people are so resilient and look after each other. A mens haircut in Haight -$20, in Chinatown - $5. Same job. Great real estate though, views to dye for, cheap vegetables. The old Chinese man in front of the green barber shop was in the film the pursuit of happiness
