Yesterday was a very hard day for me, I went to the hospital to see my papa to see how he was doing. I hadnt seen him in a few days but when I walked in the room to see him he just looked at me with the most confused facial expression. I asked him if he was okay and he then asked me who are you. At that moment it really hit me and I broke down in tears. Having someone you love so much not know who you are is the hardest thing youll ever have to go through, and having to leave them not knowing if theyll ever know who you are again is heart breaking. Today has also been very hard for me, today was the day nanny always cooked her thanksgiving dinner and we all would go to her house and eat, she was so precious and loved cooking big meals for people and letting them eat till they just couldnt eat another thing. The holidays really couldnt get any worse at this point. I just hope my papa is as comfortable as possible for however long he has left.
