Yesterday was another great day with our good buddy Mary Ellen Nonamaker visiting from Oregon. Mary, Rosa, Linda and I first picked up Grethe in SF near Haight street and checked out the mural Summer of Love at Haight and Clayton which has Rosas face in the crowd. Next we drove through Golden Gate park to the Windmill and Tulip Garden, beautiful. Walked over to the Beach Chalet for a lovely lunch downstairs, checked out the WPA murals and walked across to the beach. Next stop at second windmill on Lincoln and then to DecYoung museum for the fantastic Flowers exhibit where florists and artists interpret works of art with floral arrangements. Then drove across town to the legendary Tartine Bakery and Cafe at 18th and Gurrero for their famous bread pudding to call it a day!
