Yesterday was fun form us, It is always great to meet a goal. Kim and mine was to get in better shape to be able to participate and do every obstacle on the course. As with most things, it was the journey to get to the goal, more than anything. We got in better shape, we have been eating better, we got some discipline to meet our goal. Kim indicated there were more stories about the day, hes my first one. The Ironman outfit, when I decided to get it, I thought I would put it on and then surprise Kim. As you saw it is a one-piece costume. It has a head piece that totally covers the head. It zips up to the crown on top. Well, I put it all on and found out you cant see or cant breathe. So Im like I gotta get this off my head, now! In reaching up on top of my head to zip it down I discovered something. My hair was stuck in the zipper and prevented me from getting air! Kim came home by then and saw me jumping around pulling the top zipper, being the good wife she calmed me down and got scissors and cut my hair to get me loose. These are the for better or worse times!
