Yesterday was one of the best days of my life, and easily the best day of the entire summer. There were many reasons for why it was a great day, but the one reason that pushed it to the top 10 was fairly simple; I got to do one of the things I love the most with the two people in my life that I love the most. Going swimming for the first time with Matilde, and seeing her loving it just as much as I do, was magical. Never once did she complain or make a sour face, even when she accidentally - and a few times not so accidentally - went underwater with her head. She was just a smile from the time we entered the swimming hall till we left. Sharing that experience with her and Irmelin was just priceless. I really really need a swimming pool at some point. Less than 2 weeks left till we go on vacation, and I can’t wait to be able to swim with her (and Irmelin) every day for 2 weeks. Never looked forward to a trip as much as I do now.
