Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. Im still not quite sure how I managed to get through it. Saying goodbye to someone you love is hard enough, let alone under these particular circumstances. All I can say is a MASSIVE thank you to all of Sams family and friends who made the day somewhat bearable. Thank you Gary for making it possible for me to come over and stay at his house. The funeral and wake were absolutely amazing, Sam loved to be the centre of attention and loved a good party, it was perfect. He would be so proud of you. To Sue, Mick and Sean for letting me fly over with them and for everyone else I met who were so welcoming and supportive on this terrible day. Im 100% positive it was the right decision for me to come over and say goodbye to Sam. While it was extremely difficult and heartbreaking, it still didnt feel real up until that point. Now it does, now Ive said goodbye..and now I, along with everyone else can slowly start to move on with their lives. Sam was a massive chapter in my young life and I know he has helped shape me into the person Iam today. So for that, I thank you Sam xo Now lets start this new chapter in our lives keeping Sam in our hearts forever..and lets make sure to make him proud! ❤️
