Yesterday, was quite a full day which was filled with unexpected events in the same location i.e. Markham Civic Centre from 8am - 5pm. It started with a coffee meeting with Madlen Satz and Trinela Cane, Commissioner, Corporate Services, then we were invited to be part of a Cyberbulling Flag Raising (which we missed because I had to move a meeting to that location. We then sat in a Budget meeting and met with Councillor Logan Kanapathi which lead us to the Young Entrepreneurs Awards Presentation for the SCP - Summer Company Program for High school students with Major Frank Scarpitti and got invited to sit in for the official presentation with the Mayor and Stephen Chait, the Director of Economic Development, Development Services Commission in Markham. What I am saying is that you never know when and who you will end up meeting time and time again. Great to see everyone again (Forgot to take pic with Frank and Stephen when we were in chambers) and most important make sure and walk with a WARM jacket!!!
