Yesterday we Raised a Motion Without Notice on Baleka Mbete which said: The EFF rises to move, without notice for the house: 1. To note that the speaker Baleka Mbete has declared war against the EFF in how she targets its leaders in this house through unjust rulings. 2. That this comes out of being unable to accept a popular democratic outcome of the 2014 elections and trying to return the house to business as usual where no robust accountability on corrupt cabinet members is exercised. 3. That the EFF has been voted by over a million of our people, it is here, not to drink tea and biscuits with oppressors, but robustly hold the government accountable and win the agenda of economic freedom. 4. That no amount of intimidation, disciplinary kangaroo courts will ever remove us from these benches; because we are not workers in hon. Baleka Mbete’s plantation. 5. That we are not employees of the ANC. And we shall never obey or recognize unjust law, instructions, rulings and decorums. 6. That we further reiterate our statement of no confidence in the speaker, that she is incompetent in running this house. That she is the epitome of disorder seeking to render this house chaotic and disorderly through her partisan ageist rulings. I so move
