Yesterday, we brought our 3-year-old angel to the mall. We were planning to get her a bike but instead of enthusiastically jumping up and down as we expected, she strolled around the toys section of the store and stopped at several toys she likes: Baby Alive, Play-Doh, Peppa Pig, Frozen-inspired toys, among others... We kept asking her if she would like mommy and daddy to buy her a bike but her answer was always a nope... So we let her roam around until she stopped in front of Peppa Pig. We thought we had a lead until she left and went to the stuffed toys and hugged Loopy and Eddy from the Pororo cartoon series. So we asked her if she would like to bring home Loopy but then Therin put down the stuffed toys and moved on to the next aisle.... I asked her one more time to pick any toy she wants but she never pointed at anything. Then I told my hubby that while the other kids were screaming and pointing at toys they want to have, our little girl was delightfully contended just looking around and touching her favorite toys... Of course, parents as we are, we didnt want to leave our little girl empty-handed so we decided to eat lunch @ Jollibee before asking her one more time what she would like mommy and daddy to buy for her. Therin must have done a LOT of thinking while we were walking away from the toys until we arrived in Jollibee because the moment we sat down, she then blurted in her very cute and humble voice: Play-doh na lng... Haaayyy... Therin... you are one hell of a kid and we are extremely proud to be your parents. 😊💖 Ivan Ayuste
